ABOUT NANA

Nana is the largest digital grocery shopping platform in Saudi Arabia delivering customers daily needs and essentials in 15 minutes through a network of dark stores as well as their monthly needs through larger hyper stores.

TEAM

EVOLUTION OF THE NANA HOMESCREEN

Nana started as a grocery marketplace listing several partner supermarkets within the users neighborhood. As the business progressed, we launched several dark stores and hyper stores to cater to our users from our very own stores to control the user experience. As a result, the homepage had to adapt to these changes.

Users are able to easily switch between stores directly from the first screen and get straight into shopping from their selected store without having to go through the hassle of store selection.

NATIVE APP TO FLUTTER

Nana Engineering team were in the process of moving from a native iOS and Android app to a single codebase flutter application to speed up development time and reduce the discrepancies between the two platforms. As part of this code-rewrite, we also undertook experience improvements throughout the app.

IMPROVING THE BRAND EXPERIENCE

By providing brands a dedicated space to showcase their products, either through rich media content or interactive product slideshows, we can provide a virtual space for brands to stand out.

Not only does this open additional revenue streams for Nana, but also greatly improves the experience for users who are interested in these brands.
